Course Description: This course provides an in-depth study of the 14 areas of instruction required by the new Passport to Financial Literacy legislation.  It addresses the Oklahoma State Standards for Personal Finance and will examine various curricula available to implement personal finance education in grades 7-12 and provides teachers with free copies of various curricula and resources aligned with those standards.  Participation is limited to teachers with a secondary certification or permission from the instructor. YOU MUST BE PRE-APPROVED TO REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL OF YOUR STATUS ONCE WE RECIEVE AND REVIEW YOUR PRE-REGISTRATION INFORMATION. PLEASE ALLOW A MINIMUM OF 10 DAYS FOR PROCESSING.

Steps for Admission to UCO:
Once you have been accepted to the program, you will need to complete an application to attend UCO.

2.      Click on the “Application for Admission.”

3.      Print and complete the application form.

4.      Attach an official copy of your transcript showing your Bachelor’s Degree.

5.      Mail the completed application along with a check for the $25 for the non-refundable application fee and transcript to:
